So I haven't posted on here since I was a teenager. I thought it might be fun just to pick up where I left off rather than start a whole new page. I'm trying to complete and post a drawing every week. I'll probably eventually add some of my more elaborate stuff that I've been working on recently here as well. I was probably 17 when I started posting on here, and quit using it before I turned 19. Now I'm 26, so its been almost 10 years since I started using this website, with around a 7 year gap in use. What exactly is postmodernism? Am i a post-modernist? Is post modern even an art period? or simply a nihlistic void? Or is the world a void and post modernism is expressing the state of things? Does anyone even look at other peoples art and enjoy it anymore for reasons other than envy, or inspiration? I believe i will start painting and drawing from life to combat this nihlism.
